When it comes to sustainability, the mouse from fairIT Vermarktung GbR is an absolute pioneer:

The mouse is produced fairly and regionally in an integration workshop in Heidelberg. Here, people with disabilities are enabled to participate by providing workplaces that are individually adapted to their needs.

The mouse is completely repairable. All individual parts are available.

The Fair Mouse has an ergonomic shape that allows for wrist-friendly use with both the left and right hand. The housing plastic is made of non-toxic post-consumer recycling.

Technically, the Fair Mouse is up to date:
Its high sampling rate allows it to be used without a special pad. The buttons are particularly durable with a lifespan of 10 million clicks. We deliberately produce mice with cables to make the mouse light and reliable, without relying on batteries. This in turn reduces the unnecessary, environmentally harmful mining of corresponding ores for radio and storage technology. We save further copper by offering two cable lengths: 0.9 m for laptops and 2.1 m for stationary PCs.
